Principal functions:
The Associate will support the delivery of advisory engagements across various service lines, including corporate finance, restructuring and insolvency, valuations, due diligence, forensic and investigative services, and other related assignments. The successful candidate will gain exposure to challenging assignments, work closely with experienced professionals, and develop the technical and professional skills required for long-term career growth.
Essential duties, responsibilities and expectations:
A. Provide client service in accordance to the engagement parameters and under the guidance of the senior team leader(s)
- Assist in the execution of advisory engagements for clients across various industries.
- Conduct research, data analysis, financial analysis, and business assessments.
- Analyze information from clients, regulators, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, memoranda, presentations, working papers, and other client deliverables.
- Support business reviews, valuations, due diligence assignments, investigations, restructuring engagements, and insolvency-related matters.
- Participate in client meetings and assist with documenting key discussions and action points.
- Monitor engagement progress and assist with project management and reporting activities.
- Apply firm methodologies and maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
B. Effectively harness client and other important relationships consistent with the Firms’ service quality standards and reputation
- Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, performance and compliance expertise.
- Develop and demonstrate in depth knowledge of client business.
- Monitor legislative, regulatory, economic, and business developments relevant to the Firm’s clients.
- Assist with project management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
C. Meet other general expectations of professional and performance standards

- Work closely with seniors, managers and partners on all phases of the engagement.

- Maintain required education and knowledge to efficiently perform in the role.
- Participate in training, workshops and seminars as mandated by the Firm.
- Perform other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
- A strong academic record and evidence of high achievement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A strong interest in consulting, business advisory, corporate finance, investigations, restructuring, insolvency, or related professional services areas.
- Progress toward or interest in pursuing a professional qualification such as ACCA, CFA, CBV or a similar designation would be considered an asset.
