Administrative and Accounting Coordinator

Principal functions:

To perform administrative and operational support tasks effectively, communicate clearly and professionally, and be resourceful and knowledgeable. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced professional environment, have excellent people skills, strong writing, and presentation skills, and be meticulous but flexible.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring project plans, project schedule deadlines, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Assisting with internal accounting functions including maintaining ledgers and posting journals.
  • Assisting with the implementation and execution of business development activities.
  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals and meeting presentations.
  • Coordinating and arranging events, meetings, and appointments.
  • Coordinates the onboarding of new clients.
  • Creating and maintaining client databases and mailing lists.
  • Providing administrative and operational support.


Skills and Requirements

  • A resourceful person, who is a creative thinker with a can-do attitude.
  • Undergraduate or Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Management, or a related field and at least two years experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in the use of QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Have good time management skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
